Coca Cola’s Far Coast Cafe

For Far Coast we designed Coca-Cola's ambitious entry into the specialty coffee and premium beverage market, creating an eco-conscious cafe concept that launched simultaneously across four international markets in 2006. As Coca-Cola's strategic expansion beyond traditional soft drinks, Far Coast represented a bold move into fair trade, rainforest-friendly coffee culture through flagship concept stores in Toronto, Oslo, Singapore, and Atlanta. Our comprehensive approach encompassed architecture, interior design, brand identity, and packaging systems that authentically reflected the brand's environmental values and premium positioning. The integrated cafe environments we created established Far Coast as a credible competitor in the specialty coffee category, demonstrating how thoughtful design can successfully bridge corporate heritage with emerging market opportunities.
