Anthropologie

Urban Outfitters began as a small Philadelphia boutique in the 1970s, designed for the emerging lifestyle of young urban dwellers. We partnered with the brand during its formative years, helping transform those initial locations into a global retail phenomenon and household name. When Urban Outfitters expanded their vision with Anthropologie, we led the creation of the flagship store experience from the ground up—designing every detail from custom fixtures and material palettes to immersive retail environments. Our prototype concepts for the first dozen locations established the design DNA that would scale across hundreds of stores worldwide. Building on this success, we spearheaded the development of Free People, crafting the brand's bohemian aesthetic for adventurous, free-spirited consumers. Our comprehensive approach encompassed audience research, conceptual design, architectural planning, and interior environments, culminating in the execution of flagship prototype locations that defined the brand's distinctive retail identity.
