Meet the Chef

Born in Algiers, Beezoo chef & owner Chanez Belkebir discovered her culinary roots in her grandmother’s middle eastern kitchen. At fourteen, she moved to Paris and found the character of her adopted country in its rich, fresh food. After studying Art History at The Sorbonne, Chanez consulted for the fashion industry in Tokyo, Berlin, and Milan, where she continued to explore a multitude of culinary traditions. In 2012, she began to combine the dynamic flavors of her grandmother’s kitchen with cooking methods from Europe and Asia. This unique blend of tastes would inspire the creation of Beezoo.
